The Utility Shield™ is a 5-layer, perforated, reflective energy-shield. It’s two outer layers of 99% aluminum foil reflect 97% of radiant heat.

Each layer of foil is bonded to a tough layer of Mylar and has an interwoven nylon scrim for extra added strength. It's so strong it's virtually impossible to tear! It also has a Class 1, Class A fire rating!

The Utility Shield™ stops the sun's infrared rays in the hot summer months, which allows your home to be more comfortable. In the winter months, it returns escaping heat back into your home, once again adding comfort.

Power Mizer™

The Power Mizer™ is an electronic device that optimizes the power factor of the appliances in your home by reclaiming, storing, recycling and supplying unused power back to the devices in your home when you need them. This results in you using more of the electricity you pay for and putting more money back into your pocket.

Other benefits of the Power Mizer™are an increase in the life of your appliances and a decrease in maintenance cost associated with any device in your home that operates off of a motor.

Here's how it works

When motors in your home start, they ask the utilities transformer for power (voltage and amperage) to run. This demand for power runs through the house wiring, thru the panel box, thru the meter and up the lines to the transformer. This demand for power heats up and strains the motors and wiring in the home, this heat (I2R losses) is watts. The Power Mizer™ Unit once installed stores and releases to the homes motors what they need to function properly, thus reducing heat on the wires and the motors. Lowering this heat will reduce your electric bill, reduce the chance of fires and increase the life of the motors.
